
The Mobile Integrated Geospatial Intelligence System (MIGS) is a fast, powerful and deployable system mounted in a High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) and staffed with a trained and ready crew. Developed by General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, MIGS enables National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to deliver standard and customized imagery and geospatial intelligence products to warfighters during a crisis—anytime, anywhere.
MIGS can be tailored to meet specific customer needs, including advanced analysis and visualization tools, and can be configured for almost any mission. MIGS is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and is configured with three imagery and geospatial workstations and a downlink satellite dish.
The Mobile Integrated Geospatial Intelligence System components include:
- HMMWV with equipment shelter
- Printer and plotter mounted
- Folded and transported in shelter
- NPS terminal
- Rack mount for QRS and NPS systems
- Attached tent unit (DRASH)
- Two QRS workstations
