We know that no two of you are alike. Our Dynamic Total Rewards package allows you to choose the right benefits and coverage levels for you and your family. Depending upon the position, our Pay for Performance Rewards package consists of a combination of variable pay and base compensation. Benefits Coverage begins on your first day of employment and ends on the last day of the month in which employment terminates. Note, however, that STD, LTD, AD&D and Life Insurance end on your last day of employment. Employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement are not eligible for this plan.

Medical

Dental
Good overall physical health starts with your teeth. As a GDAIS employee, you can elect dental coverage for you and your family through Delta Dental. This coverage includes preventative, basic, major services, and orthodontia. Employees share in the cost of coverage with pre-tax payroll contributions.
Vision
GDAIS provides vision coverage through VSP. The plan covers routine exams and corrective lenses, plus discounts on other services and eyewear. Employees share in the cost of coverage with pre-tax payroll contributions.

Employee Assistance Program
Sometimes life brings bumps in the road. To smooth things out, GDAIS provides the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost to you. EAP is a confidential counseling and referral service to help you solve a variety of personal issues such as managing stress, parenting and family concerns, financial planning, and legal concerns.
Flexible Spending Account
If you’d like to keep a little extra of your hard-earned money, take advantage of our Medical Spending Account or our Dependent Care Account. These Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to be used for reimbursing claims you incur throughout the year. You may contribute up to $5,000 annually to each account.
Life Insurance
Life insurance is not something we like to think too much about. But if something should happen to you – or your loved ones – we offer peace of mind with our first-class coverage.
Employee: We provide basic life insurance coverage equal to one times your base salary-at no cost to you. Since employee life insurance needs vary, you have the option to purchase additional life insurance coverage, up to eight times your base salary.
Spouse: You can choose to purchase coverage for your spouse at coverage levels between $10,000 and $100,000.
Child(ren): You can choose to purchase coverage for your dependent children at coverage levels between $5,000 and $25,000.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Statistics say that you’re far more likely to be injured than killed. That’s why a little preparation could go a long way. It’s good to know that as a GDAIS employee, you’ll be covered.
Employee: We provide accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage equal to one times your base salary-at no cost to you. Since employee AD&D needs vary, you have the option to purchase additional protection up to ten times your base salary.
Spouse: You can choose to purchase coverage for your spouse at coverage levels between $10,000 and $100,000. Child(ren): You can choose to purchase coverage for your dependent children at coverage levels between $5,000 and $25,000.
Business Travel Accident Insurance
At no cost to you, GDAIS provides $200,000 of accidental death coverage while traveling on company business.
Short Term Disability
Our Short-term Disability (STD) plan provides up to 26 weeks of protection at no cost to you. The first week is covered under the Paid Time Off program. The STD benefit pays 100% of your base salary for up to 12 weeks and 70% for the following 13 weeks.
Long Term Disability
Should your STD extend beyond 26 weeks, GDAIS provides Long-term Disability (LTD) coverage equal to 50% of your base monthly earnings. The maximum monthly LTD benefit is $15,000. You can choose to purchase additional LTD coverage equal to 10% of base monthly earnings. With the additional coverage, the maximum monthly LTD benefit would be $18,000.

Holidays
Tradition, memories, family, and loved ones. There’s nothing like a celebration. As a GDAIS employee, you’ll enjoy 10 paid holidays a year. These days include our seven core company holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas. And, because we value our diverse workforce, we also provide 3 additional floating holidays.
Paid Time Off
As a GDAIS employee, flexibility is in your court. Our Paid Time Off (PTO) program combines vacation, sick, and personal leave into one bank that you can use at your discretion. New, fulltime employees accrue PTO at a rate of 14-18 days per year with the potential of earning more after 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service. PTO accruals depend on your department.
9/80 Schedule
Who hasn’t wished for a longer weekend? With our 9/80 work schedule, your wish just may come true. By lengthening your work week one hour each day, you can tip the work/life balance more in your favor and enjoy every other Friday off. When you interview with us, be sure to ask your manager if your group is eligible to participate in this flexible work schedule.
Flexible Work Schedules
Not everyone can work 9 to 5. If your life needs a different balance, we offer flexible schedules. Note that these schedules are dependant on business needs and require your manager’s approval.
Family & Medical Leave & Other Leave Programs
Sometimes, life throws curves. If you need to time away, GDAIS complies with all federal and state leave laws. We also offer:
Bereavement Leave: We provide 3 to 5 days of paid bereavement leave for a death in the immediate family.
Military Leave: Employees called to active duty are eligible for pay differential – between their GDAIS base pay and their military pay – for a period of 60 months.
You’ll also have the peace of mind knowing that when you’re on leave, you’ll remain eligible for most benefit programs at the same cost as when you were actively employed.
Investing In Your Future
Savings and Stock Investment Plan: 401(k) Plan
Looking to secure your financial future? Join our team and you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the GDAIS Savings and Stock Investment Plan (SSIP). You’ll get to contribute from 1% to 50% of your salary on a before-tax or after-tax basis, up to the IRS allowable limits. Highly compensated employees (a term defined by the IRS) may contribute 1% - 50% on a before-tax and after-tax basis, although after-tax contributions are limited to 15%.
If you decide to participate, we’ll match $.50 for every $1 up to the first 6% of your eligible pay. More good news: You’re eligible to participate in the plan immediately upon hire and there is immediate vesting.
Non-Contributory Retirement Program
Regular savings are key to a worry-free retirement. We encourage you to save for your retirement by contributing to our SSIP and taking advantage of our matching contribution. If you choose not to participate, however, we’ll contribute 3% of your base earnings following the end of each calendar year.

Unlike top-down performance management programs, our Performance Recognition Program puts you in the driver's seat. In conjunction with your manager, you are empowered to establish individual goals based on your career aspirations. Our Program allows you to work with your supervisor to document objectives and anticipated job tasks for the coming year, and then set target performance indicators and measures. While setting your objectives and job tasks, you and your supervisor will also review and document appropriate developmental activities to ensure continued growth in your current position, or to prepare you for future positions. Education Assistance
