General Dynamics' direction finding units are among the smallest and most accurate in the world, enabling them to be used in challenging "leave-behind" remote situations or mounted on unmanned aerial, surface or underwater vehicles. Our DF technology is enabling the tactical user with real-time COMINT/DF capabilities. Our DF units are currently used by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, NATO Special Forces and other tactical operations.
Main Features:
DFSR-3000 HF/VHF/UHF
The General Dynamics DFSR-3000 is a high-performance, portable scanning HF through UHF direction finding system with a built-in Global Positioning System (GPS). This integrated Scanning Receiver/Direction-Finding system can be used for stand-alone monitoring and direction finding of communications in the HF through UHF bands. It employs state-of-the-art software-defined radios (SDR) as its digital receivers. The system can be modified to accommodate special or custom mission requirements. It automatically searches a given frequency band, stores the active channels and subsequently scans the stored channels from its internal memory channel bank.
